Last night's storms
We rode out last night's storms just fine - had to wake up and take shelter at around 12:30-1. Lost power. North Enid got hit - one of my members had somebody's boat blow into his back yard.

Yesterday at convention I was elected Circuit Counselor for the Enid Circuit - basically the pastor to the pastors. It was a surprise. I am quite tired. Conventions, getting in late, and then disrupted sleep will do that to a person.

Congrats? Is that something like the Methodist District Superintendent only you still serve a church?

Lower level, I think. There are 7-20 congregations in a circuit -- we have 9. I'm the designated advisor to the other pastors, organize the pastors' meetings, and if there ends up being conflict between a pastor and a congregation I work on resolving and reconciling (or within a congregation if the pastor there invites me)

Wait, so not only are a friends of some OU Triangles, but you're in the Enid area as well? Huh.

I was asked a few years ago if I was a Triangle groupie. . . to which I replied, "No, Triangle was my groupie" =o) I was at OU 1995-2000, was going to join Triangle (my dad was one), but changed my major too quickly.
